Directions To Bachelors Grove Cemetery

Bachelors Grove cemetery is located adjacent to the Rubio Woods Forest Preserve parking lot off of 143rd Street just east of Ridgeland Avenue. The map below shows the location of the Rubio Woods Forest Preserve parking lot denoted by the yellow arrow, and Bachelors Grove cemetery denoted by the yellow star.

All volunteers should use the Rubio Woods Forest Preserve parking lot upon arrival. To reach the cemetery on foot you must use the path across from the parking lot on the south side of 143rd Street.

Directions To Bachelors Grove Prairie

Bachelors Grove Prairie is located near the north side of Bachelors Grove Woods. To reach the location during restoration events you should use the Bur Oak Woods parking lot off of Harlem Avenue, just south of 135th Street. The map below shows the location of the Bur Oak Woods Forest Preserve parking lot denoted by the yellow arrow, and Bachelors Grove Prairie denoted by the yellow star.

All volunteers should park at the very end of the Bur Oak Woods Forest Preserve parking lot upon arrival. To reach the prairie itself you must use the remains of Bachelors Grove Road which is now a foot path covered in grass. You can find the path on the map below denoted by the white arrows.
